Holiday Wish List

With only a week left till Christmas I've gotten caught up in gift buying, which is especially hard to do when I have to think about how I'm going to get all these gifts back to the States. But I figured a little internet browsing would be pretty harmless (and not add any more weight to my already overweight suitcases). So, without further adieu here is what I'm lusting after this Christmas.

1. Of course saying that I want an iPhone case is already assuming that I get an iPhone at some point (fingers crossed).

2. Lately I've been loving dark colors on my nails and this navy color couldn't be prettier.

3. I've had my eye on this book for a while now, I love seeing how people decorate their houses. I thinks   its akin to meeting someone's parents for the first time, suddenly everything about the person makes sense.

4. Lululemon just makes the best workout clothes. Period.

5. I love the understated preppy of these earrings. They come in rose gold which I am obsessed with.

6. How lovely is this piece of art? Especially during the gray days of winter a pop of color on the walls would be nice.

7. Seriously, how do I not already own this book? (ps: has anyone checked out the new GOOP app?)

And that's all of it. Well I wouldn't say no to an iPad, but then again I don't know many people who would. I hope everyone has some fun weekend plans! I'm going on a fabulous trip tomorrow that I'm really looking forward to!  I'll post all about it when I get back.

Rome and Berlin

I took two amazing trips in November to two totally different places! The first trip was to Rome for my friend, Dani's, 21st birthday.

It was my 3 time in Rome, but I think this was my favorite time. Dani's parents were generous enough to put us all up in the St. Regis Rome, which was so luxurious!

I think the bathroom there was the size of my room in Paris. We toured all over, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Colosseum, and some of the Piazzas.

And of course we ate... and ate and ate. You would think we were all starving here in Paris from the way we devoured pizza, pasta, gelato, and caprese!

The weather was lovely the entire time, which was a nice change from the cold and gray we had been experiencing in Paris. Overall, a lovely trip with great company!

The next trip we took was to Berlin. This city has been on my must see list for a while now and I couldn't be happier with my experience there! It really is the perfect city for 20-something-year-olds. First of all everything is so inexpensive and there is also just a great young energy about the city. Berlin was exactly how I imagine New York in the 80s to be, grungy and hip.

We visited the Jewish Museum, what's left of the Berlin Wall, the Reichstage, the Brandenburg Gates, and did some great vintage shopping. The city is so full of history there was definitely a mix of emotions throughout the trip.

Over all both of these trips were so fun, maybe because they were so different from each other!
